For a long time, I felt like I was losing my creative identity. As a mom navigating the daily realities of ADHD and caregiving, the "overwhelm" wasn't just a buzzword—it was my daily landscape. I had a background rich in branding, theater, and design, yet I found myself wondering if my season for creating beautiful things had passed.
Rebuilding confidence later in life isn't glamorous. It's messy. It's filled with false starts, forgotten ideas, and the deep, vulnerable work of unearthing who you are when the noise fades. But in that rebuilding, I discovered something profound: I didn't need to have it all together to create something meaningful.

Soft Light Socials was born from a desire for connection. I started designing beautifully styled picnics and creative gatherings on Oʻahu not just as events, but as emotional respites. I wanted to use my background in visual identity and theater to set a stage where women could show up exactly as they are—no performance required.
Through thoughtfully styled gatherings and community-centered creativity, my mission is simple: to offer you permission to rest, dream, and create again.

As a co-founder of HNL Studios—an internationally award-winning wedding and creative studio based right here on Oʻahu—I have spent years helping couples, families, and businesses capture their most meaningful moments through cinematic photography, videography, and full-scale creative production.
HNL Studios has served Hawaiʻi's community and visiting families for years and has earned international recognition for its artistry, storytelling, and dedication to its clients. That foundation of real professional work of hundreds of clients, real relationships, real creative decisions made under pressure, is woven into every styled gathering and experience I design today.
