Marry a Woman of God. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find a Woman who stands on their faith in Jesus Christ. For everything else, even your feelings of "Love" or being a "best friend" will fade. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your stomach hurt, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs.
Be vulnerable. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Despair and troubled times will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and the unknown combine and course through you.
Yes, I believe the unknown will continue to force your ego and boastfulness to bend. To trust in He that brought you together. Only from a solid foundation rooted in the promises God can the fruit of love really grow and endure. A love that will never dilute - even when the waters get deep, and dark. At the end of it all, you will stand, holding someone's hand.
